Really scraping.

Purdy threw 40 times in Seattle? Nope. Ever? Maybe.

Doesnt matter. The point is Jones did.

The fact that Purdy hasnt triggered his big payday quite yet doesnt matter. He has signed it so he wil get paid. Doesnt matter when, in the context of this conversation. Its will he or is he living up to his contract.

So when Jones comes in without any real running game, depleted weapons and doesnt skip a beat, one should look at that and wonder. Small sample size but still.

You only do that if you don't believe in your qb and you clearly don't. It's like Packers saying they have to wonder about Matt Flynn. Or the Cowboys having to wonder about Cooper Rush because he had some good games. A lot of Dak hating cowboys fans were riding the Rush train and they look like idiots now

Cool. It's so nuanced you get to choose when you want to treat it like a team sport?

You're shocked that he may not put up MVP like stats when the offense isn't as talented? I guess Mahomes must not be worth his contract either since he's not putting up MVP numbers anymore?

Or is he allowed to not play his best football cuz he's got guys missing on offense?

Just want to make sure where the nuance takes us on that one.

I wonder if you have any perpective at all.

Notice how every time you can't respond with football takes you make some simple chirpy comment instead of actually addressing what is said…

It's your own logic. If you can't keep the same energy for every player then why use it in the first place?

I am not chasing you down rabbit holes. If your counter argument is mahomes i got nothing for you.

Its as if you have the lego song on a loop in your brain.

Or we can be thankful this team has been so good under this regime and loaded with superstar players that we are even having this decision.

Literally the only thing holding this team back is injuries. Not the big contracts handed out.

This was the first year that we let some big players go but we also extended Purdy, Warner and Kittle to monster deals and McKivitz got a nice raise and they were vital to this team to bring back.

The players we lost aside from maybe Charvarius Ward have been busts. Hufunga hasn't really done anything aside from having good tackle numbers and has a 64.9 PFF. Greenlaw hasn't played yet, Banks has been a massive bust with a 38.3 PFF grade ranked 92 out of 96 guards. C. Ward has been pretty good with a 77.6 PFF grade but he admitted he needed a fresh start and our corners are playing great.

Only consensus seems to be Fred "the stud" Warner. I don't think anyone would argue against Saleh, and haven't seen any pushback on the Demo contract either.

genus, any more condescending or dismissive remarks for those who have doubts about BP and his contract? How many turnovers in his last 5/6 games?

Maybe but the complete lack of a pass rush was 100% because of his absence. I don't get how you cants see that
