Bruh nobody is worse than Cohn. One is a homer and one is a troll.

I imagine it will come down to who is feeling less beat-up on game day. If Mac's knee feels better than Brock's toe and shoulder, I could see Jones starting again. I think Jacksonville is less of a threat than the Rams will be the following week. If Jones is able to function at a level that wouldn't hurt the team it might make sense to give Brock another week of rest so that he'll be more prepared to face the Rams, where his mobility could be more of a factor.
I get that Jacksonville's defense has put up some good numbers, but the offenses they've played against haven't been all that stellar, and some of their league leading picks have been on some really ugly balls that were either tipped our just thrown up for grabs. Even without Bosa, I imagine our defense is better than their offense. So the question is whether or not our offense, with Kyle's scheming, can get enough of an edge on their defense.to secure the win. It would be nice if our running game would show up. It would make things a lot easier on whoever ends up starting at QB.

John Lynch on KNBR confirms that Brock Purdy is on a good track: "He really looked really good (at Wednesday's practice). We'll see how he responds today.. His progression has been really a good one."

I think it's most probable that Brock will start and Mac Jones suits up as emergency QB.

To my (non medically trained) eyes, #49ers QB Brock Purdy (toe) seems to be moving better than Mac Jones (knee) at practice. Purdy also first up in drills, a departure from last week.

We'll see on Purdy's level of participation in today's practice later.

Mac is in even worse shape so idk
