Cards being favorites on the road is slightly surprising.

Based on last year, and the number of rookies getting a lot of minutes, I'm not surprised. The line will change, IMO.

lol where are you guys seeing that they're favored? BETMGM has the 9ers at -1.5.

we need Bosa to keep his outside leverage no matter what
There's always a team that sweeps us in the division, hope its not this damn team! Cardinals have had their number these last couple seasons! LFG!!!! Curious to see how we play at home now! LETS GO!
Curious about our health in this one.

I tend to be a nervous nelly for most games and this one will be no exception. We've had our struggles vs Kyler Murray but I'm hopeful the defense rebounds after a tough one vs the Saints.

Arizona will try to run the ball. We know this. We have to do a better job on early downs and we've got to force some turnovers. We're very overdue for an interception.

Big question for me will also be who will be playing QB. I want Purdy back because I worry about the Arizona defense a lot more than I did the Saints and I think Purdy can do a much better job vs their pass rush but I also don't want Brock being hampered by the toe and throwing off his mechanics cuz that's when he gets sloppy.

Definitely wish we had Kittle for this one.

We need this one for sure. Let's play sound football, avoid turning the ball over and bad penalties and hopefully shut that little leprechaun down.

Win and stay healthy and start seeing some reinforcements coming back.
Murray will burn us for a couple long runs, hope they don't hurt. I think we can contain their offense and we can do enough on offense

ANOTHER EASY WIN !!!

the NFL has not seen a season by a QB since Dick Vermeil cried announcing the Kurt Warner will be his starting QB !!!

SF 47
AZ 24

Air Mac-10 w/5 TDs !!!

It's going to be a tough game, but it's winnable. We did well containing the Cards for most of both games, but lost it in the 4th in both games as offense stalled and defense fell apart. afair

We got destroyed Week 18 in Arizona but we were honestly the better team at Levi's last year. We straight up gift wrapped that game to them. Jordan Mason fumble at like the 10-yard line and then the 4th and 5 conversion

We also had Brock Purdy, Brandon Aiyuk and George Kittle available for that game.

I'd love to see Watkins be active for this next game, I think we're missing speed on offense. Arizona pass rush is pretty good and I'm very iffy with Mac Jones being the QB if their rush is getting through. The speed would help.

I do trust Kyle and Saleh to have the guys ready to play. It will be about execution and avoiding mental errors. Hopefully playing at home gives us an extra edge we haven't had this year even though the faithful have done a great job traveling for the 2 road games.

Arizona is a good team and, given all of the injuries on the 49ers, I think they might be favoured going into this contest. I like our chances but it will be a big test for the run defense considering the 49ers gave up an average 160 yards on the ground last season against Arizona. Saleh brought in all those bodies to stop the run so we're going to see how things have improved. I expect a tight game.

The Cards secondary died yesterday.

Well that's good news for San Francisco. Will Johnson has looked great so far.

Yes he has

Will be curious what teams both squads put up in the game honestly. We have questions, they have questions. Hopefully we're better able to answer the questions we have than they are.

Home team gets the benefit of 3 points when it comes to the spread. 49ers getting -1.5 is basically saying Cardinals are favored.

Mykel Williams looked like the was finding his way yesterday. We will need him and Collins and West to step up if we are to shut down Conner.

Mykel Williams looked the part yesterday that's for sure. At the very least, I think this years version of the defense has stiffened up big time compared to last year. Teams were just running and running right at the 49ers, leaning on the defense, and by the 3rd quarter the defense had basically tired out and gave up. So far this year that hasn't been the case.

I never thought the 9ers would be competing this year, and I remain sceptical that this team can hang with the truly elite teams in the league, but they are showing a resilience they never had last year.

In theory but not on paper.

Same. I thought we would be middle of the pack, maybe sneak into the playoffs due to the easy schedule. When all the injuries started mounting early, I thought it was going to be an uphill battle. But if can keep pulling out games while the defense can continue to gel together and allow our offense to get healthy, they may be more competitive by the end of the year than I thought they may be.

Seattle isn't as bad as some thought. They played us pretty good. They went into Pittsburgh and snuffed them, I thought it would be the other way around. The Saints suck but we're missing key starters so this was a good win on the road.

Now. Tards will be a good test and since we're home, there's no reason for us to not play well. It's not a sure thing, but we should keep it close and pull off another nail biter, but I'm hoping Niners just whip the shiz out of these Tards by more than 2 scores

The Cards are a 8-9 type team, they aren't bad but nothing special. I think the Saints are a much better squad than people give them credit for. I think the seahawks have a top 5 defense.

We will see how it shakes out over the season but I think the seahawks will have a top 5 defense when the season comes to an end.
