As long as we can keep winning even if its games like this, then we start getting the guys back......skies the limit

Now all the injuries have been on the offense. I hope the D doesn't start getting injured

until we get healthy and the rooks get some more reps. We need to get healthy and the young guys need to get in a rhythm and experienced enough to where they will move out there a lot better.

Happens to every rookie, they're typically better in the second half of the season than the first, cause the games slowed down and they understand assignments better. improved techniques etc.

It's better than last year where we lost every game that was like this.

64 yarder to take it to OT in Dallas…..must be nice to have a kicker like that

I just want a guy who doesn't miss PATs. Like how is this that big of a problem for us?

if dude makes that PAT in the beginning of the game, we aren't worried about losing on that last drive- just going to OT. completely different situation.

Special teams has plagued us wayyyyyy too much.

on the bright side, Deniro's kicks looked like they knew what they were doing. lol not all over the place like Moody's were.

Mental mistake. But the game was 99.999% lost at that point. Not enough options for him to lateral.

If he didn't fall on it....it could have been a TD for the D but it was over at that point anyway

Offense can't advance a fumble anyway. Game was over as soon as the fumble occured.

Exactly. If Moody was still on this team, who knows if he misses the FG's today.
Stacking wins early. That's all that matters in September.

Worry if we're still playing like this in Nov/Dec, but at the moment I'm pretty happy with the start.

If he picked it up and tried to "win the game" and it ended up being a 49ers TD or if one of the Saints got injured he'd just get even more flack. Falling on the ball is training.

man I'm happy as could be.

You know what the odds are of winning your first two games of the season on the road are? especially in two of the loudest places? one being a division rival?
with a plethora of injuries to key guys?

we can criticize mistakes and guys getting beat etc but it's great effin coaching that we've won these last two games. new guys are playing very well, backups are playing well, we are missing our starting QB, WR1, WR2 is barely playing, WR3 is out (I guess pearsall would be 2 but you get what I mean), TE, FB, LG and so forth.

we can respect what the team has done and also hold them to a high standard and expectation to improve. it doesn't have to be one or the other.
2-0 feels good.

Ugly is better than a loss

I 100% think it was just his natural instinct. I don't think he was worried about the niners getting another TD or someone potentially getting hurt. I think he just did what he's trained to do, get the ball back.

it was a nice hustle play by the saints guy. He never even had a chance to try and do something after he recovered the ball, anyways.

This is why it's so hard to be a play caller. I hope y'all aren't celebrating this awesome victory. Maybe you can argue with one another on who is the bigger clown. 😂
Panthers doing us no favours this week.

2 TO's and the Cards have a 14-0 lead with less than 2 minutes possession.

We'll just have to do it ourselves next week.
it's hard to knock Jennings cause he was gutting it out, out there, but damn it sucks he didn't pull in those last two. the second to last one would of been an incredible catch.

I guess i'm just used to seeing Jennings pull those down. Would of ended the game but it's all good. He has the heart of a warrior. He looked like he was hurting.

yeah, we are in a tough division. we NEED to control our own destiny and not rely on others. Seattles defense is no joke. Rams are a good team as long as they have their HC/QB Combo, I think Arizona is an up and comer. Cards have aquired a pretty respectable team, IMO.

Cards game is the one I had marked down as "most likely lose" but I hope I'm wrong. these division games are going to be the difference between home playoffs and wildcard games.
