Needed this win. Big time. Tough games ahead and so many players hurt so we needed to take advantage of the weakest opponent we're going to face to help weathee the storm.
Defense will continue to have growing pains with all the young players but came up in back to back weeks when we needed it most.

As expected ... this season is all about the coaches making the younger players good enough to win. It was always going to be spotty early.

Surely you aren't going to discredit Jones because of a fumble when we literally have one of the most turnover happy QBs in the league over the last 2 seasons is our high paid starting QB.
in fact NO 49ers fans can criticize any other QB for turnovers since Purdy is always down for 2 or 3 per game. However he wins, and Jones did today as well
