Fumbled snaps and blocks also count as misses right? These are so not necessarily shanks and clunks.

We're great at getting into FG range, not so good at finishing off with a TD so at this point I'll take the best FG kicker and hope he doesn't shank a PAT.

It can't possibly be worse than Moody. His high percentage is good. You just want a guy who is a sure thing 50 on in and extra points. Just put the kickoff in the landing zone. Long kickoffs don't matter anymore with the new rules. They are encouraging returns. While you might give up some of the 59, 60 yard FG attempts that could be made. You gain more making the 45 on in and 50 on in stuff pretty automatic. You want reliable and automatic 25 - 45 yards. Pretty reliable 50 on in. If you get that you are solid.

Besides last year, he's been pretty good. But last year is worrying especially between 40-49 yards.

He was 3-7 from 40-49 in 2019, not last season.
