Yeah I've watched him at Cal. He was a WR trapped in a light TE body. He had great hands in college but not much athleticism or speed. He's the type of guy you want making tough contested catches in congested areas. I always found it weird that its only when Kittle went out this offense had room for other catching TEs like Tonges or even Dwelley.
Happy for the kid. He worked his ass off through many Practice Squads and teams to get his moment.
