Seahawks OL is going to be improved. The question is how much improved and whether or not our rebuild DL can make them shaky enough to bring out the bad Sam Darnold. We can laugh at the guy but week 1 there isn't a ton of pressure on the guy. If we don't get to him and rattle him early he can settle in and make it difficult for us on defense.

However we know what they will try to do, it will be similar to what we want to do - run the ball, use play action to hit some big shots and try to get the ball out quick otherwise if forced to throw. Hope Saleh comes in with some magic.

Since it will feel like a 49er home game, will the cops going to be wearing Seahawk jerseys ? lol

Exactly, Making Darnold Jet to a second read is usually success and I don't trust this decision making regardless of if their offensive line has improved. Our offense is probably going to give their linebackers fits.
Watkins and Matos both returned to practice today. So now everyone currently on the 53 man roster is practicing.

Oh you done did it now! Can't wait for all the fellow "49ers fans" to come in here and attack you saying "we blew multiple SB's to the Chiefs and Sherman was great for us why are you still reminiscent of this moment from a decade ago? "

This is legit still my favorite outcome to any game not involving the 49ers and I don't think anything comes close. Even the Chiefs' three-peat hopes getting destroyed 40-6 in February was only a fraction as sweet as this was. I was legit ready to quit watching football forever had that unbearable Seahawks team become a dynasty.

I am truly sorry if I offended any former Seahawks players or fans
Not one single player missing from practice today. The 2nd practice of game week is usually the most intense and padded sometimes.

Good to see Watkins back.

Near full strength. Just missing Aiyuk and Robinson.

People forget some of the most violent games where fans attack each other were Niner / Raider games in the Bay Area, hence they did away with preseason between the two... lethal fights (ppl got hurt bad / died)... when opposing fans talk crap or get violent (even in their own house), Niner fans don't back down and s**t will happen. This is for seacawk's protection...

Weapons on offense are Kittle and CMC, double team them, then where are the points coming from? No JJ week 1? Practice squad WR at #2 . No more Deebo, they'll just roll coverage to Kittle and CMC. Can last year's middle of the pack scoring and redzone offense get better with less talent?

I say we blow them out if we were 100% healthy, but were not. Still too many doubt and questions that needs to be answer. I won't be shock if we drop this game and won't be shock if we win, if our 2023 offense shows up.

I guess Ricky is chopped liver.

Well, he's not proven (Rickey). So, I get Predator's point.

That said, I do see Brian Robinson getting some time. I could see him lining up in the slot and playing the old Deebo role. He's perfect for it. We shall see. I'm still not convinced the decision by the Seahawks to jettison Carroll and replace him with MACdonald was such a good idea. The Seahawks are once again going with another retread at QB, instead of drafting, developing and starting "the new guy." This is a "prove" it year for the power base in Seattle. If they can't make it happen, look for changes in that power structure.
