We got lucky

no, we out played them. we just also did a lot to hurt ourselves. it's impressive we won actually.

this is a super young team with a bunch of hurt skill players. half our defensive players never played an nfl snap.

AND it was in one of the most hostile stadiums in the nfl. it wasnt pretty but it's a HUGE win.

Right, it isn't "lucky" to lose two of your most reliable offensive weapons to injury. If anything, we were extremely unlucky, but managed to overcome it.

this was an ugly win but getting the win was so important.
- won a road game against a division rival
- we got our young guys some experience to build upon
- overcame adversity and mistakes in a game
- upton got smacked on all game but made a huge play at the end and didn't lose confidence
- Moody is the most hated man in america.

those two things will be major later in the season. our team should get better as we get more experience and gel. the hope is that this was the worst we look. SO SO SO much to clean up but the good news is that we are capable of winning the ugly ones. those are the most difficult.

Honestly, we looked pretty good despite the mistakes and injuries. Brock got to take better care of the ball in the future and please get rid of Moody.

If you listen to some of these fools in here, we were down by 30 the whole game.

That defense is good. No Kittle, Jennings and Aiyuk. Stole one take it and run!

yeah, we didnt get pressure but bosa came thorugh when we needed him most.

also.. seattles D line is very good but they beat our O line into submission, except at the end. lol that was record pressure on brock man.

A lot of that was Brock holding it way too long. Wheras Sam was getting ball out quick.

This is true enough we should have had at least 6 more points

lol thats just factually incorrect. the announcer even said this was a record amount of pressure on brock - it def wasn't cause he held it too long as a whole. that o line was getting blasted. i'm sure a portion of it is his fault but not a majority of it.

we need to get connor colby in there and see how he does. we are starting all the other rookies - why not one more. lol
Brock did make some bone head plays but otherwise had a decent game (including the 45 yard strike to Pearsall) and kept us in it. He stepped up when the OL was largely getting blown up. He had no WRs other than Pearsall getting open and lost Kittle and JJ.

He's better than Jimmy G who couldn't hit passes outside the numbers. He might not be Aaron Rodgers, but he's a top 12 QB. Not elite, but there are a bunch of other QBs I'd take him over.

Jennings better get well in a hurry since Gage and Valdes-Scantling don't scare anyone.
Is doesn't look like we will have that consistent 4 man rush pressure we had with Bosa Buckner and ford but damn saleh seems to dial up a solid blitz every third down

Im impressed with how the defense played. Gritty win by Purdy and CMC. Wouldn't shock me if we start some kicker tryouts

ill bet we are resigning the kicker we cut in the off season. he is a vet and reliable. we only cut him to make room for WRs we needed cause of camp injuries. hes coming back now.

I would rather take chances and even a few misses from someone new than ride the moody circus one more game.

It's crazy they actually tried to address the kicker position a few years ago by taking him as high as the 3rd round. It just blew up in their faces and there's definite personal bias if we keep him much longer
Kyle just said we keeping moody 😆

Yah Olsen was excuse making for bad decisions. He had time to throw. My guess is guys weren't getting open but id wager Brock had one of the longest time to throw times of the day.

Damn near doubled them up in yards. You dont do thst without time to throw.

O line was much worse on run blocking. Could be Seattle d line is real good though. See next week in New Orlenas.

Right side of the line not getting any push in the run game

YES that's the most impressive thing today defense. This would have been a loss last year.
