The consensus last season was that this was a 12 win team. The lack of TC time for injured players will be offset by the weaker schedule. Saleh's presence will be worth a game or two with attention to details that was lacking last year. The Texans game will be a challenge along with Tampa Bay. The Cardinals will be better than last year and they may get us at their place. So that leaves me with a surprising 14-3.

Every year I predict a great season ending in a Superbowl and every year they have come up short for a variety of reasons.
So part of me wants to say 6-11 and call it a doomsday season.
But I just can't do it. Too much belief in Shannahan and the talent across the roster combined with a weaker schedule.
So I'm going with 12-5, Win the West, Beat the Bills in the SB

I don't think the defense is there yet. At least, not early on. And offense will be missing a top tier WR to make up for the deficiency on defense, with Aiyuk out. Also, I think Moody might cost us a game or two along the way.
Having said all that, I hope I'm completely wrong and they ball out. We'll see…
