We are relying on enormous amounts of youth on defense. They will make some mistakes. We are hoping CMC and Trent Williams stay healthy which rarely happens. Tackle is incredibly thin and could tank our season. WR is injured all over the place. We hope Moody will make some game winners. But that hardly looks reliable. We wish Shany could close out games in the 4th quarter. But we have seen how that goes.

It doesn't mean that they can't do it someday. But I think this is young rebuilding team. They will make mistakes and grow. Our time is more 2026 - 2029. But we need to fix the offensive line for that to happen. Something they almost always ignore. So I won't hold my breath.

I've adjusted my take to 10-7, with a playoff berth, and from there, who knows. There will be the usual bumps and another slow start I think, but this is an NFC playoff team.

all 4 teams in the division look pretty good, it's going to be a demolition derby.

9-8. I'm not even sure the place 2nd in the division
We must've lost at least 2 games last season due to ST flaws. We also had a lot of 3/4 strings out there at times due to most injured team in the world of any sport. Purdy didn't look as good as previous years but considering what he was dealt, he was still F'N good, math don't lie. This season will be different.

Even with the big turn around and so many rookies being counted on, this team will be a lot better than whatever you want to call last year's team. IDGAF who the WRs are on opening day, Purdy gonna sling it all over the place getting everyone involved, the oline will be slightly better, the defense already feels like it will be better, but I'm sure it will be inconsistent at times while learning/improving throughout the year...

Health is always going to be the issue so, if healthy 11-6 / 12-5, but if injuries like last year again, then we'll probably still win 8 or 9 games with this b!tch made schedule. The PS looks a lot better than last year too, so we got reinforcements when injuries accrue...
10-7. Why not?

Should go 12-5 based on schedule but I'll predict 10-7. There will be a couple games where all we can do is laugh.

12-5
I never try and predict how the season will go. Too much depends on injuries. I know some fans look at the schedule and think it's weak but that doesn't mean a lot in the NFL. Teams can make big strides from one season to the next with free agency and a good draft. Others may have had apoor record because of injuries just like the 49ers.

Yes, the season always depends on injuries. We have seen classic examples of that in the last few years here. That won't change until we move to flag football in 2035. In the meantime, evaluating the current team, assuming good health, at least by NFL standards, challenges us to think objectively about what we have whether we keep our thoughts to ourselves or put them out for public consumption.
8-9

"Improvement". "Green Shoots". "Potential"

A pick in the low teens.
12-5
gotta go with 10-7
