He's #3 now??!!! The pound-it-up-the-gut, thumper RB is...#3? His # should be in the 30s or even 40s.

Maybe I'm just too old-school with the players' numbers of today. Need to get over that like yesterday. Now, you've got LBs with single-digit #s FFS.

Derrick Henry was #2 in college and Saquon Barkley was #8 in college. Doesn't bother me ... They changed numbers in the NFL because their single digits were not allowed by NFL rule at the time. I know Henry's #2 was a tribute to a former teammate ... if he had the choice now he may have stuck with #2 instead of going to #22.
I think he will help us. He is Thunder and CMC is Lightning. It's a good experienced duo.

Yeah, and as long as you're effective running the ball, really don't care what # you are when you get right down to it. Continuing to get used to it, though, in watching football for so long.

I like it! Will give opposing defenses a different look...something different to deal with.

Hopefully, Robinson will get a decent amount of carries over the course of the season to help with the wear-and-tear on CMC. And, in times you want to keep CMC on the field as much as possible, maybe line him up at WR w/ Robinson as the RB. Whatever it takes to help keep CMC as healthy as can be over the long season (and hopefully into the playoffs).

Marion Motley, one of the greatest RBs in NFL history wore number 76 ... though that was in the 1940s and 50s. Things change over time and we adjust :)

Yuck
Just hearing more of how CMC is about coming off the field..

When I see this quote from B-Rob...

"So, my job right now is just to complement him the best way I can, and we gonna be the best duo in the league."

Christian must have been like..

The best CB duo in the NFL for years was Deion Sanders and whoever else played CB with him

Robinson has a point but it still made me think of the Sanders duo joke
It's more that CMC ain't gonna give B-Rob the touches/scraps he thinks will be available.

I think Robinson is one hell of a running back, and would kill it in Kyle's offense...but CMC has all the power. In my ideal world when we need crucial plays, BOTH would be on the field at the same time.

CMC should be on the field when you look at contract and familiarity of the offense.

Injuries are the concern, and B-Rob is almost never injured.

Maybe after what happened la year Kyle has talked a little sense into CMC about taking a few breathers now and then.
This was a sneaky massive pickup. It's going to be interesting to see him unlocked in this offense. Robinson has some plays where he straight up looks like Leveon Bell ie:
