That's cool and all that they traded for Huff, but IMO they still need that veteran at D-Tackle.
CAN. HE. PASS. A. PHYSICAL.

This is such a smart move. There is no way Williams was going to play more than 400 snaps as a 21-year-old rookie. And even if hel could , he shouldn't. This was dang smart.

This guy seems a cut above Ebukam. Which might make him the best match with Bosa since Ford
Haven't seen the tapes though
I like it.

Ofcourse the only two Niner creators who hate the move is Grant and Jessi lol.

Not true, Grant said that he liked the move

They have 2 veteran's at DT. Elliot and Givens.

Should have just kept Floyd.

Why? He wasn't doing jack squat. May as well give another guy a shot and the worst he can do is jack squat and may do a helluva lot better.

8.5 sacks last season is "wasn't doing jack squat"? Ok....

Huff has only topped that number ONCE in his career.

Playing starter snaps. Bad against run. Aging vet. Not a bad player by any stretch, but not generating consistent pressure.

last time Huff played with Saleh, he had a 21% pressure rate. Good for tops in the league. He's a situational pass rusher, not an every down guy.
I remember this kid being pretty good in college, saw a couple of games live that he was impressive in. I think he's an upgrade over Floyd, if for no other reason than because he's a few years younger and has more tread left on the tires.

Really excited about this move. Was completely misused in Philly on defense

Agree he was misused, feeling positive about this, in Saleh we trust.
PIG IN A PICKLE
Hope he works out but the guy only good year was a contract year. If we can get 6-8 sacks out of the guy then I'll be pleased

While I agree, I think it was more of a miscalculation on Howie's part, thinking he could move from a '2 hands in the dirt' pass rusher to Fangio's 'stand up' OLB rusher.
He is here to play the Ford's role as a situational pass-rusher from the edge an I like it.

-Base formation:

Williams--Collins--Anderson (or West)--Bosa

-Passing downs:

Huff--Williams--YGM--Bosa

Now we must get a starting caliber safety
