They had a decent amount of backlog of guys who made the Pro Football HOF, and then guys who were even more prominent 49ers than Brent who aren't in the NFL HOF.

In any case, Brent Jones was a great player and seems to be an even better person. A well deserved honor.

The team HoF has only been around since 2009. Jones will be the 33rd member (player or contributor) for the 80 seasons.

Ok. It does look like there are names on the list who are more token 49ers later in their career no disrespect. Can someone publish the actual members? When I ask on the internet AI keeps messing it up. Thx.

Most of those are because they are also NFL HoF members.

About time. Before there was ever a Kittle Brent was the best TE this team ever had.

Love the guy. He has a tiny bit of Kittle type personality. He was awesome. Before KNBR took a cliff dive, He was on once a week in the afternoons. Lives in Texas now. Still loves the 9ers.
