Obviously yes on the first take . And losing deebo was addition by subtraction . Ricky probably already has his spot on lock .

3 of the first 4 picks on defensive line. All 4 on the front 7. The FO is trying to get run stoppers in here. That was the biggest need. Squabble about the picks, but the intentions were on point.
I reject the premise of the second question. We aren't looking for a Deebo replacement, we are looking to replace Deebo. Teams are back to playing cover 2 and taking away big plays. You need a WR group that can run timing routes, separate, that can win contested catches, that can stretch a safety with 4.3 speed. Deebo brings none of that. Defenses are trying to force long multi play drives. You need to run crisp routes to get the third and 10 conversion. That's not Deebo. Redzone routes? Not Deebo. Obviously Deebo has a unique skill set, is insanely talented behind the line of scrimmage and is a joy to watch, but CMC has that covered. I suspect Pearsall has more in the tank than what we've seen in terms of splash plays. But Watkins is the seam stretcher. He's top 10 in the country in yards per catch. He's the antithesis of Deebo.

Deebo's replacement is Ricky Pearsall if you're talking about who will be the starting ZWR. Nobody will ever replace Deebo as a player.

You don't need to replace Deebo with one guy. You need guys that can do elements of what he did. And we have that and more. Yac guys, tough guys, field stretchers, route runners etc. it's not about replacing Deebo it's about being a good offense lol

The first two responses covered it. I'm curious to see the offense next year. Such an injection of fresh talent. Kittle and Juice are the only old reliables, so Shanahan will definitely be cooking up some new things. I think the offense will explode in 2026 as Kyle will have a clear handle on what Pearsall, Cowing, Watkins. Guerendo, and James can do.
