He wasn't suppose to be starting…but you know that

Foerster is supposed to be a really good O line coach. If that's true why can't he get these guys to block better? I know the Niners haven't been drafting O linemen in the early rounds but a really good coach should be able to get a better performance out of these guys.

Fans complain all the time on this forum about the special teams coach and the training staff. They complain about Kyle's play calling. Why is Foerster getting a pass? Bobb McKittrick always had the O line playing well even when players were injured. Harris Barton and Bubba Paris were both #1 picks but they were drafted 5 years apart. The rest of the O line were 4th rounders of later.

Been saying this for years.

I'd say Foerster has been doing pretty damn good as a coach. Ya'll act like he's been given these elite level ingredients to make a 5 star dish. Dude is taking chicken s**t and making chicken salad lol.

All the more reason our lack of draft depth or fa activity is not comprehensible. Why take boutique skill players when we need oline possibilities at at c-g-rt. No comprendo. Think of our p k picks. Foerester could be working with 3rd round oline talent instead.

He and Shanny are over confident / cocky with Foerster's ability to coach up lesser talent, have them perform better than a scrub

But yeah, your point is valid and we all (for a long time) get that in here... seems like Shanny doesn't get it tho

We need to replace Brendel because he literally blocks no one longer than 1.5 seconds on any given play

She's lucky the refs don't flag her for tripping all the times she tripped up her man with her hands after falling on her back

This is Kyle Shanahan's arrogance permeating all levels of the organization: "my system is the star of the show, I don't need any elite talent, any scrub will do."

Unsung hero of the night with the catch and YAC! Allowed us to get 3.

Now that you mention it, he played prominent and unconventional roles in both of our final two scores.
Whiffed in pass pro on an early play but then I think was good.

Directly and indirectly responsible for almost every point if you think about it
he is holding his own but he isn't dominant, had a few pass pro look out blocks and almost got Mac killed

He is playing decent for a 7th rounder but yeah, he has a ways to go.
He'll be seasoned just in time for the playoffs
