I dont think Tonges or Lucas are in any doghouse. its just they dont believe in rotation of most positions. so, Tonges as a receiving TE or Lucas as slot...they not gonna start over Kittle or Stout. Tonges was in on some redzone snaps last week.
with WRs and DL its a rotation so I expect Watkins to get a bit more snaps with each week. its not like Robinson is doing much. it just takes Kyle a lot of time to trust people on offense.

I was hoping to see him take on the role that Deebo played with handoffs and tosses out of the backfield. He's got a similar build, although Deebo was a bit heavier. But, he either doesn't fit that role or he's just not ready yet. It is one play out of the Shanahan playbook that the 49ers have yet to run this season.
