He reminds me of Bad Moon Rison and Terry Glenn.. very fluid !!
Coach Yac had him beating Barron for a TD in team drills.

Who did you have beating him out? Pearsall, Jennings, Cowing, Watkins, ???, ???

Gage who hasn't played for 2 years?
Owens because of his dad?
Bergen because he might be able to return kicks?
Chosen?
Hodgins?

Realistically the WR group is INCREDIBLY thin to start the season.
Nice. Kid looks good so far.
just a 50 yard pass from our back up qb to this guy, nbd
Dude looks awesome. With great hands and excellent speed.
Thought Watkins looked good. Looking forward to seeing Purdy throwing balls to him and hoping they develop good rapport.
Shanny sure loves to dial up that slot fade in the preseason. Same play Trey Lance hit Danny Gray for a TD a few years back in the preseason. I love how violent Watkins is at ripping the ball away from the defender once he's secured it. I noticed this while watching his college tape, too.

Most 50+ yard TDs in college…..that's all I needed to hear when we drafted him. His play is translating a lot better than expected
It was some good some bad game from the kid but the bad is standard rookie stuff. The good looks very encouraging.

Definitely surprised he didn't house that 50 yarder though. Not sure how Huf caught him on that.

He is saving those hammies for the regular season.

Hope Brock will hit him in stride
