West is having a hell of a game. He seems to be in the backfield and in on the tackle on every play.

This guy looks to start to be aware and be an anchor up front.

If he keeps trending well and Collins too they might have found two nice interior defensive linemen.

It was a good showing by each. However, other than their Center, AZ's IOL is not good.

I don't have access to the coaches tape anymore, but there should be some juicy clips for CJ West this week. He was dominant in the first half. Coaches talk about playing on the other side of the line of scrimmage. He did that for 2 quarters. Even his effort to the ball was impressive for a 320 pound man. I think it took a toll on him in the second half, tho. He was completely tapped.

I don't know what the temperature was over there, but the DL looked like they were running on fumes by the end of the game.

He also is probably still not in game shape with the injuries and being inactive a lot until last week. Temp was close to 70.

He was getting fed a decent amount before they benched him (had more to do with thumb), but it wasn't like Collins reps... he looked good but fatigued in the 4th qtr due to benching / rest.

I could be off, but I do think CJ West looked better when comparing DJ Jones and West in their first years. West is solid as a rook imo and will likely show much improvement in coming weeks

twitter links broken? I love this first rep here. Both rookies taking on the double teams and not giving an inch(CJ actually splits his). This is exactly why they were drafted.
