Silver lining, this guy keeps getting better every week. He looks like a cornerstone piece out there.

Cornerstone? Meh. Don't know about that. He's always gonna be limited to nickel because of his size. He's played well in moments but I don't think he's ever going to develop into a great cover guy. His strength is in his physicality and tackling.

His coverage is pretty sticky most of the time. That's been his MO since college. He's not a perfect product, but he's already showing signs of being a dynamic player. My only real concern is his health as he plays with the kind of reckless abandon that shortens careers. Usually when guys show this much promise this early, they stand a good chance in becoming cornerstone pieces.
Dude was a major bright spot

Slot corner isn't a need next year. He's a cornerstone. Or bare minimum, has a future here. He will be even better once we get a consistent pass rush. We have to remember, our DBs have played without one virtually all year. We got a slightly less than average pass rush the first three games and the worst in the league the final 15.
Still struggles mightily in coverage, but he's physical and willing to tackle. And that counts. He's probably been our best draft pick in a generally mediocre class.

He has improved much in coverage. Too
soon to grade a draft.
Definitely a good player going forward

Already a brilliantly cut diamond. Great pick.
Excluding Bosa & Warner it's pretty bad when a small CB is your best tackler lol.. He is also doing much better in coverage. Bot as many DPIs.
Did they throw in Stout's direction after this play? 🔒🔒🔒
