Yeah, Bears went right after Lucas after Stout left the game

I was waiting for Saleh to bring that nickel blitz and run a trap with a hard flat defender. Every time we ran a nickel blitz Caleb threw to the flat behind the blitz. It felt like Saleh coulda cooked up a trap he may have and the Bears didn't fall for it but those nickel blitzes were getting abused by the Bears.

ESPN picked him as Second Team All-Rookie Slot defender.

Second team: Upton Stout, San Francisco 49ers. Stout is a perfect fit in the 49ers' secondary under Robert Saleh. Ferocious and undeterred, Stout will stick his nose into the fan with reckless abandon, regularly creating splash plays along with solo tackles in run support. Stout needs to play with faster eyes and feel in coverage, but he did well to minimize yards after the catch with his tackling ability. The peaks are very impressive, and if the game slows down for him, he'll generate a lot more forced incompletions.

Don't think he'll be ready.

Younger players recover quicker, especially if they have not had a history of concussions. Let's hope he can go. Lucas is not the answer.

Its totally up to the markers for recovery.
Everyone recovers differently
Every concussion is different by grading.

Perhaps a zone Dr. could weigh in.

He's been practicing in full without the no contact jersey. It's weird that he hasn't been given a full go yet but it looks like Rashied has. I could be wrong.

I've seen nothing about Rasheed being cleared, just that he's been practicing like Stout. He looked a lot worse on the field after the concussion as well.

the fall didn't look that violent also, so that might help with his recovery

Not feeling optimistic with our game on Saturday instead of Sunday. I think typically for guys playing Sunday the independent doctor reviews them the day before.
For Saturday games can they get cleared the same day?

The reporting yesterday was that he cleared the protocol. He may be listed as Questionable, but I'd bet on him playing.
