like many have mentioned, I'm sure this is a Saleh-influenced pick. A rebuilt defensive line with speed in the linebacker/safety level will be key to our defense returning to form.

Martin vs Winters will be the most interesting training camp battle imo

Martin is the ideal guy to play a spy role against more mobile QB's like Kyler Murray and Jayden Daniels.

I dare them to put up a comprehensive list of their picks verses where the player was actually drafted.

It's also silly to harping on drafting 14 spots early in the 3rd. The difference is a 4th round pick. That is backup territory in most teams cases.

I'm really like the size, strength, speed and quickness we are adding to the defense this draft.
something our defense has lacked for a couple years.

we now have big, strong, long, meaty, fast athelstws all over the defense.

Btw, my comment wasn't meant as an attack on you. I was just speaking generally about "over drafting". Of course it happens in situations but sooo many variables go into it that comparing it to others boards is nearly meaningless unless it's something egregious like taking a 4th rounder in the first, ya know?

that minus -178 for TDP means like 5 round difference. thats pretty egregious. same with Moody and Beathard
