Did Collins forced fumble and recovery remind anyone of Cowboys chase down and forced fumble of Jeremy Maclin VS the Eagles in 2011? Could be possibly be a season defining play. Or not, sick either way.

I thought about Dre Greenlaw 's stop at the goal line against the Seahawks. It was a rookie making a fantastic play that saved the Niners in a crucial big division match.

Double team? Reaching there. I gave him his flowers on that play, he blindly punched the ball out on the button really impressive I don't think it's a fluke either he subconsciously located it and punched it out.
Yet it's the only play we are paying attention to for obvious reasons. I saw a couple other plays that were solid but overall he was getting blown up or stone walled both in passing and run defense.

blindly? I don't think so

His highlight play was so damn impressive. Defeat the double team, punch the ball out and then recover it.

With the bonus of punching his chin as well

Gave him a little chin music for being a ram

Just one of the best plays I have ever seen.

It's so perfect. Then the devastation of Williams on the bench after, like he was gunna cry. You gotta love seeing the Rams in shambles. This play will be forever remembered by fans and he is just getting started.

Yeah, the blindly take is stupid. Lol, you could see the intentionality in the hammer. A comment like that is just meant to diminish the play.

reposting so this doesn't get buried on the last page's reply

Alfred Collins is smoking right guards in just his 5th NFL game with bull-pull-swim moves ala Chris Jones, and there are fans dooming?!? It's exciting to think about what Alfred Collins could be in a year or two once he's a more polished player. A little better footwork and timing with more body control, and Alfred isn't far from collecting a few high-quality sacks. He's got the tools to be a premier pass rusher if he puts in the work. I think he's already shown more than Kinlaw ever did as a rookie.

And don't you love how the right guard made a false start? They never called holding on the Rams offense as well and their defense, which was grabbing our receivers all night but had NO problem calling holding on our us. Pathetic job by the referees and the Rams are still our b***h like always.

Yep, total s**t from the refs but we still owned them. SOSAR

Refs can suck it
Collins sucked in preseason. And just a couple weeks ago he got 30's from pff. Against the rams he got an 80.0 on 40 snaps.

What's going on. The Rams have a solid oline.

No rookie has improved more by the week than Alfred Collins. That rep I highlighted above is one of many quality pass rush reps. The guy was damn good on Thursday.

I was also thinking about that Greenlaw play when Sigle came in and stopped Williams in his tracks on the game ending play. It wasn't as much of a mano a mano play as Dre's, but it definitely was a defining play for the rookie. But I like your interpretation too. That play by Collins was something else.

Dude has already made up his mind on Collins, so everything he posts serves that narrative. It's turned from he sucks at everything, to he sucks minus the good plays where he doesn't suck. Who knows what happens with Collins, but I'm happy to see him play better each week. Arrow up for the rook.
That's a great rep posted/ highlighted by heroism.
