I think so too. And CJ West will be getting a pile of reps at NT

DE- Mykel Williams / Yetur Gross Matos
NT- CJ West / Evan Anderson
3T- Alfred Collins / Kevin Givens / Jordan Elliot
DE- Nick Bosa / Sam Okuayinonu

That's a pretty nice rotation

As far as I am aware we have just the one now that Alfred Collins has been drafted.

Very nice. The 2023 and 2024 lines looked flashier on paper, but the 2025 line looks like it will destroy O lines. Guys will be on skates. No room to step up and no running outside for QBs.

Guys, please take a moment to appreciate the coordination and balance on this rep(Collins vs #77). Reminder that this guy is 6-6, 330 pounds working the swipe and then going to a spin move as a counter all while staying on his feet. The burst for the finish. If you're not excited about this guy, I don't know what to tell you.

God I hope you're right
Yeah, loving this pick. Great athleticism and power for his length and size. He will be disruptive with CJ,Bosa and Mykel front.

For such a big man, look at the balance and quickness. Wow!

Guys his size aren't supposed to move like this. He's going to eat in this scheme 😈

I love this pick. The new Dline will have 3 rookies in the rotation. Should be sick if they pan out.

I see it more as the middle guy bringing pressure up the middle making the QB scramble into him for the throw away.

Not sure what any of that has to do with the demonstration of high-level traits(ie agility, balance, coordination) in a vacuum. We're focusing on Alfred Collins, not the result of the play.

oh yeah for sure he showed what you said, but you didn't say I couldn't comment on the result of the play

Love this pick! Booger McFarland said Collins reminds him of Chris Jones 😳

Collins in between Chester McGlockton and Leonard Wiliams!!

Love the PICK !!!

I think of him as a bigger Michael Carter

I wonder if they envision Collins more as a 3technique with CJ West, who is a more natural 2i nose in the wide 9. There's definitely pass rush upside traits there with Collins. Maybe they project him to trim down a tad getting into the NFL and increase his athleticism.

I didn't want to say this because I saw the NFL.com profile also stated it, but Collins reminded me of a better run defending Kinlaw when I watched him during the process. 49ers put Kinlaw right away at the 3tech spot. Maybe that's the plan with Collins.

When the pick happened I thought he'd play Nose, I liked the film too and think he has rushing upside. I think the CJ West pick told us that he's playing 3T. I think they'll be great together.

We questioned whether rookies could really improve our run D, but I think they absolutely will.

Just need some more juice out of them as rushers, but the upside is there with all of them.

I gotta imagine we'll be working on a trade with the Eagles for Bryce Huff. Conditional 2026 draft pick. We need some speed on the edge, and we can't depend on Beal for that role.

Outside of that one move, let Williams and the young DT players feast / develop this year.
