These guys just can't help themselves. They never take BPA. Ever

Tyler Booker over Mykel Williams
Aireontae Ersery over Alfred Collins
Dylan Fairchild over Nick Martin
Zach Frazier over Ricky Pearsall

LT- Trent Williams / Aireontae Ersery
LG- Tyler Booker
C- Zach Frazier
RG- Dominic Puni / Dylan Fairchild
RT- Colton McKivitz

We could have easily built a dominant Oline but instead we take bust after bust and this Oline can't hold up vs the top DLines when it matters

You missed one of the most painful for the OL: Javon Kinlaw over 2x first-team all-pro, 5x pro bowler Tristan Wirfs. This one is so damn egregious.

Imagine the yardage we would put up if Shanahan would for once stop drafting busts at DL, LB and RB and draft a damn offensive linemen who are always there for the taking. Why do these guys have to make it so complicated?

It's not his fault that he was drafted 2 rounds to early

Tate Ratledge would have fit right in here. SMH

You gotta understand that this team will never draft a IOL in the 1st rd let alone top 15…especially over a DL. Booker was NEVER a legit option.

Williams was a fine pick, got hurt and here we are. Booker could have torn his ACL here and we'd be all butt hurt about the pick all the same.

Collins stinks plan and simple, dude can't do the one thing he was suppose to be good at. Like others have said his fundamentals blow….it negates his size and athleticism.

Man I just don't see it with this kid, I thought it was a bad pick in the 2nd rd. Regarded as one of the top run defenders in the draft and he's been anything but that

Massive size and length, but he doesn't play nasty pad level is crap etc etc. DJ blaze made him his b***h last night lol

He's just bad. There's no other way to put it. Dude just sucks.

pops out of his stance rather than exploding forward; cleats don't stay in the grass; pads rise; hands outside of OL frame. The guy just sucks right now. He negates every single athletic trait with terrible technique and poor fundamentals. He's been horrible in every single preseason game.

Bad overall last yr as well. Kid keeps getting hurt and can't get the reps to improve on top of it. They went all in last yr to stop the run and two of those 3 picks last yr got wreaked all preseason. Sucks because Williams was a dog at stopping the run and I feel like could do some damage as a rusher from the inside….hope he comes back 100% asap.

Also Cowboys have spent 3 firsts on their line again and don't have a dominant one.

Lol you think we could afford to have paid/extended all these players? I get what you're saying, and certainly a better problem than bad players, but our roster wouldn't look like that to date.

David is an asshat and always has been. He thinks he's smarter than everyone else. And he glazes the team and every decision they make way too much. Grant is entertaining and you'd have to be a serious homer to get offended by his reporting

When your dog takes a s**t in the lawn you don't get offended, you dispose of it and never think about it again till some special person brings it up and says but it was funny.

I think that's one of those, eye of the beholder arguments. Grant is a tool who barely understands the game and is constantly forced to walk back his hot takes on players because of his own ignorance. Lombardi has become pretty insufferable as well. JonnyDel remains the gold standard for 49er film breakdowns, though I find his garden gnome partner to be kind of a dim bulb. There's a guy that has a podcast called 49er Cutback who isn't terrible and I like Guy Haberman. As for the regular beat reporters, the Matts probably remain the best source since they haven't made a habit of burning their bridges with the players and front office and can still get access to one-on-one interviews with Lynch and Shanahan, which is what you want from a beat reporter.
Grant cohn reminds me a lot of trump: a loud mouth who can be entertaining but who you certainly wouldn't want to depend on for actual 49ers info (or in trumps case, to be president, unfortunately for all of us).

Lombardi I don't follow much either other than for basic news (player X signed or cut).

Both Lombardi & cohn will take hard line positions and then flip week to week as if that's what they've always thought.
