This is how I envisioned him when we drafted him. Georgia coaches their players well. Hopefully he has a good head on his shoulders unlike other Georgia players

by all accounts - dude has a wonderful head on his shoulders, class act of a human being. He's selfless on and off the field (per everything I've read and seen).

More importantly, he absolutely loves football. he loves the game. You can see it in his motor. His selflessness. We just need to develop him.

He's our next Justin Smith. He's going to be an absolute monster - he just missed camp and is getting acclimated. He's making huge leaps, quickly.

I was just gonna post this, but you know maybe this Sunday he will get off his block lol

Lol posting DE stats for a guy that rushes from a DT spot.

I saw a few people try to poke holes in that chart as if someone tried to pretend Mykel was the main focus of Seattle. Nobody said that.

The point of it was to show the kid did get doubled and chipped at that high rate and helped the team defense.

Btw he didn't line up at DT all game long like people claim. He was all over the place and didn't just rush from inside either.

Hopefully after today's game you will relax a bit then again he didn't get a sack so maybe you'll keep up your narrative.

Snaps from Mykel week 1.
Dude is an absolute bull. He was just bulldozing people into the backfield. Smashing people in both the run and pass game. Had some tackles for a loss. Man he's powerful. He changes the line of scrimmage to his will. I see what they were seeing. Starting to like him a lot.

He causes havoc , he's a disrupter, sacs are a bonus if it happens, Buckner didn't have high sac numbers either but some of those double teams really help others be the hero
The kid needs a ton of polish, but the traits are there to be an impact pass rusher. A little better work in the transitional aspect of his rush, more urgency at the top of the rush(comes with more reps), and he's sharing a sack with Bosa on a pivotal 3rd down.

Manhandling a NFL player at 21 is crazy

I guess he was able to finally get off a block . Good for him
He was an impact player today. Loved to see it!

It is all about production. I don't have a problem if he developed into a productive interior rusher on passing down.

It just seems like he may not have the speed and bend to be a very good edge rusher.

Justin Smith didn't either. Different ways to do things.
Noticeable improvement from last week.

He was a force out there today.

If he keeps improving OC's will have to game plan for him as well as Bosa & Warner.

Agree with all of this. Williams was a difference maker today. I thought he collapsed the pocket on regularly today.
I was also very impressed with Winters. He looks like the fastest guy on the field when he's out there.
