Seems like a good pick. Ready to play day 1 with some upside. Good character traits. Injury history a concern.

Helps fix the pathetic run D day 1.

Walker wasn't a fit for the defense.
How do people know so little about Williams? Blows my mind lol

Terrible pick. #11 and you pick a guy that's never posted more than 5 sacks in a season...

Where's the proven commodities and production?

He will be lucky to get 5 sacks this year...

Sacks is not the only thing an Edge is supposed to do. In the 49ers Wide 9 the DE MUST be able to set the edge. We lost a lot of that when Cle Ferrell left. Several pundits I heard in the past week or so predicted that whoever the 49ers picked, if it was an Edge, would to be able to shut down the outside run game. Williams has the size and strength to do that.

Good pick. He will get his numbers with a healthy ankle and in the 49er system, not to worry.

he is said to have one of the higher floors
Appears to be a great pick. Time will tell.

Great another injury riddled project bust

What do you back that opinion up with?

Javon kinlaw vibes all day. No production or pass rush skill set. Young high ceiling high bust chance. Woulda went with Warren but they panicked and drafted need

I don't believe it, the first "bust". Shake my damned head.

High bust "chance"

Baloney. Every player drafted has the chance to bust. I see no reason to suggest he has a high chance. Now, three posts from you in a row throwing that around. You have said your piece. Now move on.

The same guy that loved Javon Kinlaw and Trey Lance? The guy who called future Hall-of-famer Fred Warner a reach and special teams only player? 🤣

Yes that guy lol
Derp. Nvm.

So we got a run stopper at #11 overall. Not sure if that's good or makes sense.

Feels like a panic pick to fill a need.

Total reach

niners coulda gotten him in the 3rd round

They do that most years under Shany / Lynch. I hate these guys so much. Got to get rid of them both.

This is the same type of pick we made in round 2 after we traded all our first round picks for Trey Lance.

Tf yall talking about can get him in the 3rd rd? And a reach? Guaranteed he was gone soon after if we passed, yall just try to find anything to b***h and moan about

So you love the pick at #11? Is he a plug and play player that makes us better day 1?

I guess we will see, I guess he's just not what I was expecting at #11.
He's absolutely a plug and play and helps improve the run defense.

Alright big dog! Sounds like you're a fan. I didn't dive much into him but from what I've seen - seems like an excellent prospect who can stop the run really well (huge plus in my book for a young player).

What kind of upside are we looking at? I just saw a stat that opponents averaged 0.1 yards when he made a tackle - hopefully he didn't have a high miss tackle rate

Roof is Aldon smith. My comp has been JPP

Good run stopper with pass rush potential. Were picking number 11 in a weaker draft, gotta take who you feel will make an impact. If we have even an average run defense last year it would've helped our atrocious 3rd down defense.
