Very encouraging so far from Mykel. Love it.

Keep building on it young man!
Wouldn't shock me in the slightest if Williams develops into a Pro-Bowl level player. He has all the tools and any issues might have been more reflective of how he was being used in the Georgia system rather than overall limitations on his part, kind of like Kittle and Warner in college. Time will tell.

The Justin Tuck comp is slowly materializing if Mykel becomes a terror as a moneydown interior rusher in Saleh's turbo package(aka nascar package).
Theres very little doubt in my mind Mykel will be at the very least a good NFL football player. And if he improves/develop his pass rush, I mean watch the fck out.

For people who didn't get the hype, not trying to be condescending or anything, but the first thing about evlauting players and film - throw the highlight videos in the trash (ok you can watch it once in a while but not in lieu lol) and focus on game film, snap by snap, looking at situational football.
I guess it's a pet peeve of mine but some of these reporters in these press interviews just say things that are inaccurate/incorrect in their questioning. Somebody in Saleh's presser was referencing how Trent Williams the other day compared Mykel to a young Buckner. That's not what he said, TW said his size reminded him of a young Defo. That's not the same as he reminds him of Buckner. So a reporter is asking one person in a press interview about something someone else said in a different one while taking out of context what they actually said. It's like he didn't even get the nuance of what Trent Williams said.
Fantastic to hear!!!! Now if Collins can come in and be decent this would completely unleash Bosa. Especially with Saleh at the helm. Even pairing him and Bosa on the same side
Rookie DE Mykel Williams showed his versatility with reps on the edge and interior, with many noting that he looked like a force in padded drills.

"He's very powerful. He's got great hands. He's got great leverage," Saleh said. "He has great flexibility to go inside and out. He's unique in that regard, which we knew, which is why we were so excited to go get him."

Saleh added, "Mykel, he's going to be a hell of a football player."

Larry is backing off that already.

I think Williams is a great pick - once I sat down and studied him, I thought he was an excellent pick for our team.

I don't think it's so much that Williams was misused in college (although maybe there is a valid argument to that) but more so he's healthy. If he was fully healthy last year, no way he falls to pick 11. I don't think he even falls out of top 4-5. Dude was considered to be a #1 pick before last seasons injury riddled year.

this scheme and his type are a perfect match for each other. Especially paired with Bosa. If west and/or Collins pan out - this can be A very very good d line.

Larry only keeps crowing when his out there takes come true. When he was wrong he stops talking about it.
