Ogbo is 31 so hes not that young. Like Ive said in the other thread, I think they looked at both Ogbo and Kareem and liked more what Kareem could give in run stopping. Remember Ogbo started the season on PS, so its not unlikely he just returns when the time is right (tm)

I was kind of surprised to see Ogbo get cut. Not long after his promotion to the 53. He hasn't been great but he's flashed, is young......hope we get him back on the PS.

They can't afford to cut Valdez and hope he clears waivers. He has shown too much promise. They need to keep him on the 53, that made Ogbo expendable.

For sure, one thing is certain about Mykel: he looks the part. He physically looks how a lot of the great ones look ie JPP, Aldon Smith, Chandler Jones, etc.

It took Aldon awhile to get going in his rookie year. However, once he got comfortable working as a duo and in tandem with Justin Smith, he became the ferocious star that he was. I will never forget those early games. He was a force.

Idk about that , I remember him starting to become a factor by week 3/4 that year.

One difference is Smith played edge all the time. Williams was moved from edge to interior DL and back again so he couldn't just concentrate on one area. That's not easy for a rookie. I hope they now let him stay at edge more but with all the D line injuries that might not be possible.

I'm glad that Mykel is about to return, but I'm a little disappointed that we had to cut Ogbo Okoronkwo in the process ( I have no idea who else it would be). I thought he was contributing good pressure on the QB and really helped to bridge the gap with all of the injuries.

I always remember Aldon doing most of his damaged standing up in that 3-4 and being able to play off of Cowboy. It's a huge advantage if you can pass rush well standing up and having someone in front of you who can take on 2 OLs, those stunt plays were deadly.

But seeing how Williams looks right now, he's almost a spitting image of Aldon body wise.

I want us to sign Joey halfway through season. We can rotate him and Mykel, also have him inside with Osa and have brothers on each edge

It'll be good to see him back out there, and hopefully having a big impact for us

If we're bringing in another edge, it should be a trade for Khalil Mack.

But we can dream about TJ Watt and Maxx Crosby

With no playing time for over a year, I wonder how effective he will be on Sunday? I don't like that we cut Ogbo, I have a feeling he will not make it back to our PS.

One Bosa is enough for me on this team. I like Nick nothing against his play I just think there would be. Better option than Joey.

I think we need the high picks in next year's draft more than we need Watt or Crosby, who will both cost multiple high picks, whereas Mack will cost a late round pick and about a million bucks a game. Next year is supposed to be a great draft class, and we need young guys to replace the older stars who will be leaving the team in the next few years.

Mack would cost even less than $1M per game. More like $0.5M per game.

He is definitely the trade I want us to make. If the Chargers are 1-5 in a couple weeks I think they trade him for a 4th, or if we have to maybe a 3rd with a 5th coming back to us.

Alex Highsmith is realistic. Watt is not
