Looks like It's trending that way.
I'm going into the season expecting nothing from him, anything he brings is just a cherry on top for me.

As thin as we were last year we were up pretty big in the game he got hurt late and I was wondering why he was still in there and exposed. Very unlucky for us getting our number 8 overall pick hurt

It'll be great if he does
I'm kind of concerned about this guy now. He doesn't rush the passer really well. Doesn't get sacks. Was a great set the edge guy. But that's over drafted at #11 overall. Now injured and taking a long time to come back. He relies on power and base to set the edge violently. That's compromised with the knee injury. Sometimes guys are never the same after that or it can take 2 full years to fully recover. It's a big mess right now. I hope for the best and see his value as a set the edge guy. But this thing is all messed up right now.

I sure hope he proves to be a legit 11th pick in the draft.

We really need one of our 2 first picks from that draft to be a factor.

he was looking very promising before he got hurt

He's not going to. I loved the pick and the player...but between the horrible black cloud of 49ers luck, and this injury timing...i can't imagine he does anything other than be a solid, at best, mid round pick player vs an 11th overall.

It's truly astounding how horrible the 49ers are at drafting in the upper rounds. We always have to hope and expect that they hit on rds 3 through undrafted.

He looked decent I guess

Based on timetable it makes sense. He was injured in early November. Standard recovery time after surgury is about 9-12 months which would put him in right around now for the early time.
