Kyle not even in the draft room cause they didn't let him pick a RB.

His bio starts with "Martin is an undersized linebacker who missed most of the 2024 season with a season-ending knee injury."

Agreed on this one 6th round grade.
Huge reach
I dont like this pick. Why ? Letting Greenlaw go was a disaster.
It's the third round gents - time for the front office to go full dummy and do weird stuff. Lol

anyone know about this Nick guy?
Gonna be that guy now, over Paul is moronic. Pretty confident on that.

They must see Dre Greenlaw traits…

They didn't want to come back.
Really don't like this pick at all, but Saleh likes what he likes so we'll see.
Nice! Fast, fast and fast! LB -check. What do we get next? OG,CB,WR..
Look at it this way, id rather have them reach and grab the LB they want (knowing they draft LBs well) than draft a kicker in the 3rd!

Nick Martin is a quick twitch athlete who has excellent play speed as an undersized linebacker and had high production totals in 2023 before only playing five games in 2024. He led the Big 12 in solo tackles with 83 and had 16 tackles for loss. Additionally, Martin is an effective blitzer who can consistently impact the pocket, with 30 pressures in 2023 on 98 pass-rushing snaps. Martin is a physical run defender who seeks out contact and can beat offensive linemen to make plays. The injury in 2024 means that he has a limited college sample size with only one full season of playing time. Martin can play a little too out of control sometimes and can miss tackles, with a career 13.2% missed tackle rate.

They have a linebacker type. For the 3rd round though, as weak as we are, he should be a day 1 starter. Wonder what made them pull the trigger now. They do a decent job at LB so I'm not complaining.
