Well.. the last time we drafted a QB in the seventh, I said that it was dumb and a waste of a draft pick. Brock turned out pretty good.
now I still think that was a dumb selection and waste of a pick but whatever. I guess they're always looking for a young qb to develop for a while and it's a cheap backup, if it works.

Guys, it's literally the 7th round. Whether you believe that the OL can use some help (I do too), or even that it totally sucks, drafting Messrs. Irrelevants in the 7th vs getting some UDFAs won't make that much difference. They evidently like their line as it is. I wonder why too, but it's over. They have decided weeks ago. They like it. So now they get ST possibilities, a practice squad QB, that sort of thing.

I never get when a team drafts a QB that is completely different than the style they play. Different skill set then Purdy or Mac, strange.
