Guy is a pro. Could have saved our season with these starts we are getting from the backup position. Josh Dobbs wasn't going to do it. Lol

When Mac was winning all of those games with the Patriots that took them to the playoffs he looked like a dangerous QB in the pocket I would not want to face. He can be an elite pocket passer which is dangerous. I can see how he won a national championship with Alabama.

They had a good run game and he was an effective game manager right out of the box.
we need to get the run going. Our offense will be so much better with either QB.

Have to admit, Mac is playing a helluva lot better than I expected. That being said, Purdy has that elusiveness in the pocket Mac will never have. And behind this line, that is a must.

What a helluva pickup. Especially with Purdy's turf toe. Those can linger all year and this has me worried. So happy Mac is doing his job well. Is he signed to just a 1 year deal or more?
