Also there is no guarantee of a comp pick. 9ers would have to sign fewer qualifying fas then they lose.

Depends on what is needed in 27.

I wouldve thought JJ was gonna a be a guarantee comp but it wont be now.

I would love that, but its his last year and odds are he wont be back. If someone has a low 2 high 3 I would listen. The only other thing i could imagine is a QB going down early next season and they trade him for a pick in the 27 draft.

As well it should be. 49ers hold all the cards on this 1.How many if any teams can say that they have True Starter as there #2?? No way 49ers would even be in the Playoffs last year with out Mac. So why trade him for a sack of potatoes...

How many teams that have holes all over the roster would hoard a backup that they could get a draft pick for?

I can't fathom asking a first rounder. No one is paying that. And everyone knows he isn't worth that. Starting caliber yes, but he's probably not worth more than two thirds, maybe a second and fifth.

It's them basically saying he's not for sale. Kyle thinks he's a starter in the league and he's basically free this yr.

I mean SF shouldn't be taking a 4th for him either. We don't need another trash RB lol. Is what it is, if teams truly valued him they would send over legit offers. Not happening so whatever
