I know, it is hilarious how you're so stupid you want to use huge resources on a f**king center when nearly every Super Bowl winner had a journeyman-caliber center, and center is the least important position in football.

Kill yourself.

HURRRR DURRRRRR, it's paint chip eating day at 49ersTardzone. All the tards eat your paint chips, durrrrrrr!

Muh offensive center. NEEDZ DA STUD CENTER.

f**k da QB and sheeyit. Get a CENTER and the team will be unbeatablez.

Need a stud like all dose undrafted free agents and late round picks over the years. It was Jesse Sapolu who made the 49ers great, not Joe Montana, Bill Walsh, and Jerry Rice.

After watching the new Jurassic Park trailer and being disappointed this has brightened my day up with so much entertainment. Thank you

If you think center is an impact position and should be the focus of the 49ers' off-season, kill yourself.

Nope I think getting a kicker with our 1st round pick should be the focus.

there is a new jurassic park?

one of my favorites is seeing the original in theaters
After pondering our in house expert's comments......I am thinking a kicker in the first rd and a punter in the second rd. Maybe a long snapper in the 3rd.
I would aim to make this defense #1 in the league

already off to a good start with Saleh
next step is re-signing Greenlaw

then get an elite pass rusher:
either trade up for Carter or Graham, or find a way to get Garrett
Garrett might be tough because he's probably gonna want a new deal, although news is that he really wants to go to a contender so maybe he'll take less than Bosa, but paying ~70m for 2 pass rushers is kind of crazy
Also in the trade-for-MG scenario: I would find a way to not trade 11, give them 43, one of our late 4ths, and 2x 1sts in '26, and '28 (because '27 is a loaded class)... then trade back from 11 if possible

sign 2 higher-end FAs -- C Drew Dalman and WR DeAndre Hopkins would be my top 2 targets
then sign cheaper FAs to 1 year deals... guys like (some familiar faces): DJ Jones, Brunskill, Moseley, Kinlaw, FS/NB Julian Blackmon, TE Tyler Conklin
alternative higher priced FAs I like: NB DJ Reed, WR Keenan Allen, FS Justin Reid, NB Asante Samuel Jr., DT Milton Williams, LB Jamien Sherwood

I also wouldn't rule out re-signing Banks and Ward if, and only if, their market isn't what it's supposed to be and it's a 1 year deal

draft
if we stay at 11, I like FS Malaki Starks, CB Will Johnson, DE James Pearce Jr., DE Mike Green
if we trade back, DT Kenneth Grant, OT Josh Conerly, OT Armand Membou, CB Jahdae Barron, DT Walter Nolen, TE Tyler Warren
and if we trade back, I would trade back up again and try to get another one of those guys, preferably an OT or DT
at 75, draft DT
99, WR or DB
day3, fill out the roster, do what the FO does best - find gems

OL
only 2 FAs I'd re-sign besides Greenlaw are Moore and Bartch
LT - set with Williams and Moore
LG - if we don't draft someone early like Conerly or Membou, it's going to be a camp battle between a bunch of guys here: cheap FA (Brunskill), Burford, Bartch, Zakelj, Moore, other rookie(s)
C - Dalman hopefully
RG - Puni
RT - McKivitz, unless we draft someone in Rd1 (and they don't end up starting at LG)

edit:

if we get Garrett, we would have to trade or cut Deebo post June 1
and probably cut post June 1 - Floyd, Gross-Matos, and maybe Elliott

I dont think Hopkins is a high end FA at all. I also feel like we shouldn't spend any more money on WRs.

This... Unless we trade one of our guys even though I still think we're ok with Deebo/Yuk(one or the other or both), JJ, and Ricky. I see Hopkins past his prime but I wouldn't mind taking a chance if Deebo or BA get traded as long as the price "reasonable". I highly doubt we even pursue him though.
