Bosa is a good player that shouldn't need a lot of help. Other edge rushers seem to do okay without needing other great players arond them. Sure it will help but but they need help in a lot of areas. Better interior linemen is a need bit so are better O linemen. Nobody said Trent Williams needed help to be great.

Garrett and Watt play great without a lot of great players around them. Max Crosby is good without great players on the line. Great plyers make the other players around them better.

Watt has Heyward who is an absolute beast
Garrett has the likes of Za'Darius Smith and Dalvin Tomlinson.

Nick had a better season than Crosby... He's right there with Watt if he plays 16 games and wasn't playing injured.

I'm perplexed why you think getting Bosa help is a negative. The dline needs a massive overhaul.

Bosa and Crosby had very similar seasons. The only reason Bosa had more sacka is he played two more games. Crosby only played 12. Still had 7.5 sacks and lot's of pressures. As far as the other two I don't think their supporting help across the line is any better than what the 49ers have had the last 2 seasons. Heyward averages about 7 sacks per season. He's only had 3 seasons out of 14 with double digit sacks. I'm not saying he's not a good player but he isn't a difference maker.

Let's see how much difference there is with Saleh back in charge. A big part of the problem the last couple years is the defense got too predictable. Then without Greenlaw to help fill those big wide 9 gaps teams were able to run easily.
Is # 4 still on the team if so, cut him and go for two every time
a time machine would fix a lot of the problems that have plagued us over the previous 5 seasons

Ahmm…what?

That Steelers D is filled with talent. Cleveland as of late has had some really good players on it.

Also Bosa has been excellent. People gotta stop just checking the sack numbers.

And guess what…Trent Williams needs help to be great considering nobody will care if he does his job well when the QB is getting killed cuz the rest of the OL is junk.

DLmen rely on the rest of the defense. Bosa can beat his man and watch the QB step up into a clean pocket if the interior rush isn't there. How many times does Nick get extra attention?

The point is to make the unit better. Nick doesn't need the help but if we want him at his best then getting other guys out there who need attention so Nick can get less double teams or chips that improves the DL.

There's a reason we were so feared in 2019 and Bosa was on an absolute tear in those playoffs.
Sell the team
A premier pass rusher and much better interior o line players - specifically a stud center.

does anyone know of any BA updates? How he is recovering from his brutal injury? Will he be ready for camp?

LMAO. A stud center.

Name every starting center for every Super Bowl winner. How many of them were studs?
Our Center almost single handedly ruined our season. Would be nice to have someone who can at least attempt to block
start with Nolan in the 1st round and Belton in the 2nd

It's Nolen so thankfully not that again.

Trade a 1st rd pick for a kicker....

It's the 2nd most important position in football after the QB. Sorry you don't understand football.

I'm sure you think all the games the team has lost because of the kicker don't matter, but those of us who aren't like, "lulz, special teams are nerdz" understand that kickers lead the team in points.

Ya....trade for a punter, maybe a 3rd rounder. They can flip the field. Who else can do that! Not Bosa.

Punters don't make that big a difference in the outcomes of games.

Here is every team's starting center to win the Super Bowl since 1980:

Dave Dalby: 4th round
Fred Quillan: 7th round.
Jeff Bostic: Undrafted free agent.
Fred Quillan: 7th round.
Jay Hilgenberg: Undrafted free agent.
Bart Oates: Undrafted free agent.
Jeff Bostic: Undrafted free agent.
Randy Cross: 2nd round
Jesse Sapolu: Undrafted free agent.
Bart Oates: Undrafted free agent.
Jeff Bostic: Undrafted free agent.
Mark Stepnoski: 3rd round.
Mark Stepnoski: 3rd round.
Bart Oates: Undrafted free agent.
Ray Donaldson: 3rd round.
Frank Winters: 10th round pick.
Tom Nalen: 7th round pick.
Tom Nalen: 7th round pick.
Mike Gruttadauria: Undrafted free agent.
Jeff Mitchell: 5th round pick.
Damien Woody: 1sth round pick.
Jeff Christy: 4th round pick.
Dan Koppen: 5th round pick
Dan Koppen: 5th round pick.
Jeff Hartings: 1st round pick.
Jeff Saturday: Undrafted free agent.
Shaun O'Hara: Undrafted free agent.
Justin Hartwig: 6th round pick.
Jonathan Goodwin: 5th round pick.
Scott Wells: 7th round pick.
David Baas: 2nd round pick.
Matt Birk: 6th round pick.
Max Unger: 2nd round pick.
Bryan Stork: 4th round pick.
Will Montgomery: 7th round pick.
David Andrews: Undrafred free agent.
Jason Kelce: 6th round draft pick.
David Andrews: Undrafted free agent.
Austin Reiter: 7th round pick.
Ryan Jensen: 6th round pick.
Brian Allen: 4th round pick.
Creed Humphrey: 2nd round pick.
Creed Humphrey: 2nd round pick.

Do you think all of these late round draft picks and undrafted free agents are amazeballs? You've never even heard of most of them. Teams drafted centers in earlier rounds all the time, yet it's clear that it's an irrelevant position.

Center is the least important position in football and completely interchangeable. Kicker is not. The difference between an elite kicker and Jake Moody can be 20+ points. No position other than QB is tied to that much of a point difference.

This forum is nothing but a bunch of paint chip-eating twits. The epitome of Dunning Kruger. You can literally point out irrefutable proof that something is the case and you still don't get it, because then it would mean you have to accept that you are a clueless imbecile who has no business talking about football.
