We basically won this game with ST which is crazy considering where this unit has been. Gotta keep this guy around.

Special teams actually looking special again. Usually a disaster for the 49ers. A lot has been cleaned up here. Great to strengthen that part of the game. It's really helping us especially in some of the close games. I can't believe how much better it is. Usually so bad I just count on it being a disaster.

Many of us had mentioned that if we had just had middle of the pack play from ST(we were last iirc) that it would help us with a few more wins compared to last season. It seems that has come to fruition this year.

All this. Boyer has really helped turn this team's ST from a liability to a strength. Each game, including yesterday's (forced fumble & recovery), this team's ST is either winning that phase of the game or at least breaking even.
This is such a crucial part towards winning, and finally this team has a winning ST group (thank you also Eddy, Moore, Gifford, etc.).

Rules Question: the bears got that 15 yards on the extra point penalty….they took it on kickoff, then kicked it out of bounds on purpose….why couldn't we decline the penalty and make them re-kick?
