Who cares. Most fans here don't care about a Super Bowl win. As long as the teams entertaining and competitive.

Winning a SB > winning and being competitive and making the playoffs > losing and missing the playoffs.

It's not rocket science. I'd much rather win and make the playoffs but lose the Super Bowl than simply lose and not make the playoffs.

Too many other 49er fans disagree. For many here they think the second best thing go winning the Super Bowl is going 0-17 and being excited about the draft. They'd rather be the worst team than be the 2nd best team.

Three decades without a ring

This is getting ridiculous. Nobody knows anything, even about the next year, let alone five years from now. Did anyone think the Chiefs would win 3 Super Bowls in the next 5-6 years in 2017? Nope.

Wrong, we do know a lot about the next 5 years. We know we have a bunch of bloated contracts for players that no longer contribute and a bunch of guys that are going to want to get paid, including a QB apparently demanding 60 million per.

We also know we have a head coach who can't win the big one and whose performance keeps slipping.

We also know we have a DC who is pathetic.

We also know we need a new kicker and both the defensive and offensive lines are garbage.

That is just the beginning of what we know and it will take longer than 1 or 2 years to fix all of that.

I remember when Jimmy used to do the exact same thing and would get reamed on here.

Jimmy's OL was never this bad. He also couldn't do a thing about it by running like Purdy can. Jimmy was field reading illiterate. He threw picks right to defenders without any pressure. Anyone who doesn't see the difference between the two QB has awful memory.

You have Brendel and Puni blocking one guy and 6"7 Calais Campbell just slips by unnoticed right down the middle and drills Purdy.

Brendel gotta go. He and Moody can f**k off in the same Uber together.

I give Brock the benefit of the doubt on that pick. That's a play he makes routinely when he's not drilled. Our O Line is a disaster and needs to be top priority this offseason after signing Brock to a fair contract.

Agreed. All the contracts are going to hurt the team going forward including Purdy's
