This is getting ridiculous. Nobody knows anything, even about the next year, let alone five years from now. Did anyone think the Chiefs would win 3 Super Bowls in the next 5-6 years in 2017? Nope.

Atleast the Seahawks are going to miss the playoffs also. What sucks though is we are likely going to get a Rams/Packers wildcard matchup. And I despise both teams.

Mahomes took an offense poorer than this one talent wise and beat us in the SB.

Last year they literally only had an aging and hurt Kelce last year and still figured how to overcome a 4th quarter deficit against our talent rich team.

Rice was nearly a 1000 yard WR, Pacheco was way better than any RB Niners have available now, and Humphrey is a Pro Bowl C. I'd call that a better offense than SF's offense today.

Pacheo the guy with less than 300 yards rushing this year? Same story with Rice who's at 288 yards. Mahomes is a Franchise QB and those few exceptionally talented players in this league can elevate a team like he did against us and win despite playing against the odds. I mean he's got his team ready to go for another SB and a potential 3 peat....meanwhile Purdy has all pro's at TE and FB, two first round WR's, J.Jennings and looks like a scrub

This s total fff**king madness!!!! Never have seen a niner team so bad coached, i don't want shanny gone but we have to accept that this season even with all the injuries and what not has been a total dissapointment. Consecutive penalties on offense because we are not lined up correctly, penalty on defense because we are aligned off sides, unnnecessary roughness for a punch that didn't even landed on the intended target, long developing plays when we see all 11 defender coming after the QB, not going on 4th & 2 multiple times when we have the worst damn kicker this side of Jose Cortez, just total depression….

Get Darnold, let Purdy walk or test the market. His performance this year has hurt his value. If he and Darnold are the same $ wise, get Darnold, at least he can throw further than 20 yards at a time.

Darnold is tall enough to not get the ball tipped as much as Purdy at the very least
