PYMWYMI: Fire Kyle Shanahan or No?

I'm genuinely curious how many people actually believe Kyle should be fired. So, let's measure the fan sentiment. We can revisit this from time to time and see if the results shift.

Here's his performance below:

Losing seasons:

2018 - following key players went to IR or missed 3+ games: QB Garoppolo, RB McKinnon, RB Mostert, WR Garcon, WR Trent Taylor, WR Goodwin, WR Pettis, S Jimmie Ward, S Tartt, S Harris, S Colbert, OG Cooper, CB Moseley, CB Witherspoon, LB Foster, LB Smith, LB Watson
2020 - following key players went to IR or missed 3+ games: QB Garoppolo, WR Ayiuk, DE Bosa, LB Kwon Alexander, WR Tavon Austin, WR Benjamin, DE Ansah, DE Blair, DE Ford, OL Brendel, OL Garland, OL Coleman, OL Compton, RB Tevin Coleman, S Cyprien, LB DFF, LB Greenlaw, RB Hasty, TE Kittle, WR Richie James, CB Moseley, RB Mostert, LB Nzeocha, TE Reed, C Richburg, WR Deebo, S Tartt, CB Sherman, DT Taylor, CB Verrett, DT Thomas, CB K'Waun Williams, CB Witherspoon, RB Jeff Wilson
2024 - key players to IR or missed multiple games: WR Aiyuk, CB Ward, DE Bosa, C Feliciano, DT Davis, DT Givens, LB Greenlaw, LB DFF, DT Elliott, DT Hargrave, DE Gross-Matos, S Hufanga, WR Jennings, WR Samuel, OT Williams, TE Kittle, RB Mitchell, RB McCaffrey, K Moody, P Wishnowsky

Other notes:

There's no HELL NO option.
Ask me after tonight

Seriously, for all the smoke that people (myself included) blow, I don't actually think we can or should fire him after this season. He's brought us the most success since Seifert. Folks are just frustrated with how this season has turned out, and they use it as an excuse to regurgitate their frustration about the Super Bowl losses.
I'm one of his more vocal critics but not yet. He's a good coach he's just tremendously flawed. He deserves another season to turn it around if we don't somehow turn it around this year. The only way you replace him is with someone that is proven or a very hit commodity and that just doesn't exist atm.
As long as this thread stays civil, it can stay. Otherwise keep the general discussion in the regular KS thread.

After this season, yes. Although the more respectable approach would be for him to resign. He's done here. He may win a Super Bowl someday which his second or third team, IF he happens to land a generational quarterback like Reid did. But as long as he wants to keep 100% control on play calling, and expects his QB to execute the offense like he's playing Madden out there, he will not win a SB.

Regardless, let him be someone else's problem. And I would love to play him in the playoffs / Super Bowl knowing quite well he will likely choke away the game.
Shanahan is gonna finish in last place this year. That's quite pathetic
Who's available to be hired as a likely new HC should always be a required part of these surveys.
Lol kinda over this topic at the moment tbh
There are many. Here are a few. Ben Johnson, OC, Detroit Lions
Bill Belichick
Aaron Glenn, DC, Detroit Lion
joe Brady OC bills
No.

I'd rather not go 5-12 every year under Tomsula 2.0
Let's put this topic on hold for a while.
