Let's see. From sources….

Deebo out
Aiyuk possibly out
Juice likely out
Ward probably out
Dre probably out
Hufanga probably out

this is just for starters. Definitely rebuild mode. Hopefully Shanahan out sooner rather than later…

It's the ONLY way... if The Brick after Brick Brothers are still here the next 3 years, nothing will change.. we may land some good to great players from the draft, but our HC will never win one as a HC.. . there will always be more busts than gem year in and year out..

All the moves in bold were pretty much expected.

We don't know if Aiyuk will be traded and whether Dre will be brought back.

Either way those positions are not rebuilding level ones. Hell all those players either highly regressed last season or barely played. How do you see that and think rebuild?

Now if they trade Warner or Bosa then you have a case.

Ward and Greenlaw will be out. Maybe if we're lucky we convince Greenlaw on a one year prove it deal but even Adam Schefter says he has suitors and will likely leave. With that said, we know all the positions we are lacking in. The trenches are a mess so we don't need to go there. But we need a LB, corner, safety, WR maybe 2, legit RB behind CMC if we don't keep Mason, legit TE2. Of course we still have to lay Deebo's dead cap and maybe even Aiyuk's if he leaves.

there is no two ways about it. This team might be a playoff contender bc of a weak schedule but I don't even think they are a division contender with the roster that's about to head into the 25-26 season.

I think somebody finally got into Jed's thick head that the front staff is throwing free money at players that either don't produce, get injured, or develop diva attitudes (or any combination of the three). Worse yet, we have absolutely nothing to show for it. ZERO Superbowls and Kyle continues to fund the same s**t over and over. Jed is using this year to clean up Kyle's payroll. Guaranteed he comes up short this year (high probability he will) and then Jed shows him out as well.

it's absolutely necessary at this point. Great teams are defined by championships, NOT playoff appearances as some dopes like to sell in the fanbase. I'm glad Jed is finally getting the message. Time for Kyle to hit the road.

Saleh HC 2026

Come up short this year?

We're a team in transition. Provided Kyle is on board, which there's no indication he's not, there's a good chance he's going to be given more slack in terms of immediate results.

Careful what you ask for. Chip Kelly and tomsula say hello.

Not to mention we basically need to rebuild the trenches on both sides of the ball. This is basically 85%full on rebuild.

Please explain then. What position group is set and able to play at a championship level right now? O-line? Nope.. D-line? Nope. LB's? Nope. Wrs? Nope. Db's nope.

We have holes all over the roster and we're hemorrhaging money to old/injured players who aren't producing at elite levels. It's a rebuild

In the last 10 years we've had the best roster in the league a few years. It's going to get bumpy but also a chance for younger guys to grow. Really hoping we don't see the dark days again.

To say it doesn't feel like we missed our window would be delusional but I still and will mostly likely always trust shanny.

I want Shanahan and Lynch as long as they'll stay. I don't want another Erickson, Nolan, Singletary, Tomsula or Kelly.

Rebuild by most definitions is getting rid some of your top players and starting over.

All of the players listed above don't spell rebuild. Your point about building the trenches isn't wrong but those moves we make whether we keep all those guys or not so they're not related.

Trading Trent Williams or George Kittle would spell rebuild.
Trading Bosa or Fred Warner would spell rebuild.
Trading Brock Purdy would spell rebuild.

Trading WRs isn't rebuild worthy. Losing a LB2 even as good as Dre isn't a rebuild.

As far as the trenches we need a new center. Every other position on the OL has a potential solid or great starter there.

The DL needs more work but lucky for us this draft is loaded.

just saying nope is somehow proof ? lol

i've been posting nearly in all position threads of how we're not close to being a rebuild. The guys listed above hardly played last year, so with them gone, won't be a drop off.
