That was a good one for sure. I was looking for any 49ers player who might have been a part of the Olympics that year. I don't think there were any though.

How on God's green Earth did you land on Olympics for a starting point?

My mind is really active when it come to this. I came upon the last name, Sydney, and Boom! I immediately thought about the 2000 Olympics, and I had my new question.

I had zero chance at that question before he mentioned Atlanta 4 years earlier. That narrowed it down to the the Olympics for me.

I went to college in Atlanta.
Before the 1996 Games, it was pretty typical for each succeeding Games to be called "The Best Ever."
When Juan Sam.. only gave the Atlanta Games a "Most Exceptional," people took it personally.
So I've been pretty keen on descriptions for the Games ever since then.
They were the first things I looked for when I researched the Sydney Games.

Very cool. Unfortunately the thing I remember most from those games was the bombing at Olympic Park.
Thanks for the additional clues and the answer. That was a really tough riddle. Probably would have struggled with it for a bit more time.

And while we're still having this discussion late in the midnight hour (at least where I am), I am considering a kind of Tournament of Champions Grand Finale.
A Final Question would be by Invitation Only, for only those who successfully answered a prior question.
Smokey you have about 7 or 8. Krizay I believe you have one, and so on.
I'm not sure if this would be a good thing, or even a right thing.
And the last thing I would want is for genus49 to have to put one of them big LOCKS on the thread.![]()
What do you all think?
Take your time.
