That might have been the worst performance by a middle linebacker ever. And collectively the worst performance by a linebacker unit ever. Poor isn't the word for that group.

he's a backup I know but he kills us.
the lb unit is worse than the safeties.
49ers linebackers allowed 126 of the 198 passing yards against the Seahawks
Tatum Bethune: 7 targets 78 yards allowed 113.1 passer rating when targeted

Kendricks needs to start over Bethune effective immediately.

They also missed tons of tackles like I believe 8 on Just the LBs, safeties missed 5 more.

This is really bad football. Bethune can't give himself up that easily and give Walker the edge. He needed to fight across the guard's face and force Walker back inside to his help. Also, isn't this a penalty? And didn't he just get flagged for this exact s**t last week?
Kenneth Walker hit the 49ers with a 13-yard gain on a nicely designed Screen early in the 3rd Q, pushing the ball past midfield for the Seahawks. Grey Zabel was able to get out in front as Walker is approaching 100 yards of Offense already.#Seahawks #SeattleSeahawks #49ers pic.twitter.com/USgP1kglrx

When he replaced Bethune after his injury the Seahawks ran and threw at him and was very effective. Bethune is decent against the run but liability against the pass. Not clear Kendrick is better at either.

Kendrick at the very least will wrap up and take proper angles, read a play and react properly...our lbs took themselves out of plays too often yesterday to ever expect success.

If Kendricks is up to speed by now in knowing this D to where the coaches are confident, I would by all means want him in there ahead of Bethune. Bethune has shown he's not close to being an effective starter, especially against more talented teams. Kendricks, though towards the latter part of his career, is a better LB than Bethune. Give him the week to prepare as a starter for this upcoming game vs. the Eagles - again, assuming he has a good grasp of this D by now.

He's not decent against the run. He was responsible for seattlea only TD on a run play.
The only thing bethune does well is hit hard. He does absolutely nothing else even at an average level: slow to diagnose plays, doesn't take blockers on well, not much speed, really bad in pass coverage and perhaps worst of all doesn't get our guys lined up right.
On the other hand he's a 7th rounder. It's not his fault and we should never expect a 7th round backup tier player to start half the season but that's the hand we were dealt

Ok, maybe less than decent. My point is we don't have a better available player.

This i probably agree with. Robinson we know is worse, and Kendricks I doubt is better. Oh well

Bethune seemed to go down every single week with some mystery injury, miss a series and then return to the game. I wonder if he's been dealing with this injury for awhile, and it finally gave. He was very good in his debut and got worse every week since then.
