I mean barely. I think folks want and upgrade to Jake, not his clone

we will see!
hope he turns out better than other usc guards like chilo
I honestly want someone with a great deal of strength that won't get overpowered by DTs. Along with a high football IQ, this would be ideal. Not sure we get that with Jarrett or Drake. I have hope however.

We are pretty damn bad at developing the raw OL. We really need an OL coach who can do that. We should give a blank check to the Eagles OL coach, that guy is constantly turning late round picks / UDFAs into pro bowlers / all pros.

Forrester is widely considered one of the top 3 Oline coaches in the NFL. Don't disagree they haven't been great at shaping raw talent. But I think that's more a drafting issue (vs. Eagles) than grooming talent.

I mean they've made guys like Brendel/colton/brunskill into starting level guys. Not elite guys at all…but day 3/UDFAs that have started in the NFL for some time

Im with you on this. All 3 would have starting jobs on other teams as well. They aren't great, but they are solid starters. Also in Foerster's defense, two of the Eagles top guys (Kelce and Johnson) have been there for years. For what he's been given, he's done a solid job.
How is this guy holding up?

LOL
I hope he gets playing time tomorrow.

GO AUHS CUBS!!
He's actually been looking pretty good as well

Still think this guy should get run at C
I'm glad to see he's looking good. He was a monster on the OL and DL in high school. I remember he was doing well at Washington State but then covid hit and he transferred to USC after that.

Agree 💯 %, I think he's an ideal center from a strength standpoint. 36 reps. If the center is strong as well as agile (4.47 20 yard shuttle) and can manhandle DTs by himself - not only will that help Brock in pass protection but the inside run game too. That makes Kyle's naked boot calls so much more effective. QB sneaks should be more effective too.
