Stick to the point you know damn well you would have a problem if Aiyuk was doing what PEARSALL was doing
Heartbreaking: 49ers star WR Ricky Pearsall got extremely emotional speaking about getting SHOT in an attempted robbery for his Rolex.

From what a bullet? Dude hurt his PCL and if folks understood the actual injury, they would get that it's not something you just shake off and you're fine. Same thing with Puni this yr, he didn't just suck all of a sudden… he played through a PCL all yr.
PCL's like a lot of soft tissue stuff are based on grades, now just because it's a grade 1 doesn't mean he's gonna be 100% after a week off. Clearly it was something that hindered him all yr and sounded like it was re-injured (and played through it). Kid was the opposite of brittle in college, never missed a game.

People really reaching simply because he missed a bunch of games and re-aggravated the injury by rushing back. Damned if you do, damned if you don't.
Just this year alone we had a bunch of guys deal with PCL injuries(including 3 49ers)
Pearsall, Puni and Mac Jones all had PCL injuries. Pearsall is the one who plays a position where you put the most strain on that ligament.
Other PCL injuries this year
Drake London - missed 4 games and didn't look great when he got back
Brock Bowers - played on it a few games and wasn't very effective, shut down for over a month and still ended up on IR at the end of the season because it never healed all the way
Puka Nacua injured his PCL in week 1 of 2024 and didn't come back until week 8.
Guess Nacua is also brittle? The injury is literally all luck. You fall a certain way and you risk injury of it and it's easy to aggravate again if not fully healed. If anything the 49ers as typical do a player a disservice by saying an injury is mild or not serious and then fans become ravenous when players don't get back quick enough. They did the same thing to Arik Armstead and others in the past. I get Kyle likes to play the mind game with opponents but if you don't give legit estimates for injuries fans will expect guys to get back out there right away for injuries which take their time to heal.

He played in week 7 and then proceeded to play the remainder of the games so no he isn't brittle.
