It means Tre Brown, Upton Stout, Darrell Luter Jr, etc, and Terique Owens, Jordan Watkins, Isaiah Neyor, and Junior Bergen are going to get a MUCH bigger chance to impress.

I'm as argumentative as the next man, but TC is very close and we just should wait and see. If Pearsall isn't taken off the PUP in the first couple of weeks of TC, then we will have something concrete to talk about and we will know it was not merely a formal motion.

If he is taken off PUP and is practicing, well the whole thing is moot.

yeah so it was a nothingburger...unless there are some lingering issues

I was surprised when I learned these were almost the first practices he'd had with Brock. I forgot Kyle doesn't really practice after mid-season, they just do training and installations.

He's the most talented WR active on the roster, followed probably by CMC. Jennings is the only known solid WR. Robinson is good but never going to be much better than he is. The rest are nothing but questions. Pearsall REALLY needs to bring it this year.

I like what I see and his work ethic seems fantastic. If we get an healthy BA back and into form this will be a great duo.

What do you even base that on?

The fact that half our WR room is injured right now and Ricky showing good things end of last season and clearly having a good camp once he got back on the field.
"Purdy's first four completions on the day were directed at Pearsall, who caught passes at every level of the 49ers' defense," wrote NBC Sports Bay Area's Matt Maiocco.

I'm sure defenses would never figure out that pattern :)
