I just watched that last play a bunch of times at half speed and my conclusion is that there are 3 main dudes responsible for that game winning run stop. Those men are Mykel Williams, Fred Warner and Chase Lucas. Chase lasered in and perfectly filled his run fit and that let Sigle and Demo finish the job.

Even at full speed you can see that Lucas was the first guy in the hole to stop William's momentum. Mykel sealed everything off on the right side to keep those other linemen from helping out, Fred got in behind Williams to slow him down and Lucas' hit held him up long enough for Sigle to get there. Team effort, for sure.

He played absolutely great. If anything he's just as good as Stout. Almost a question of who you play. Both just as good. Lucas a little bigger. I didn't expect him to be this good.

Too small to play safety. He's so short. They will just throw jump balls all day.

Lucas was a beast in the preseason. He's been good when he got a shot. I think we might need to leave him in there.

Lucas can play outside CB; did so in college. All I know is he 100% deserves to be on the field. All he's done since preseason is prove himself when given opportunities and make plays.

No brainer over Luter; and personally I like him more than Green and Stout this season too. He plays inspired football man and has that Aura this year that can't be taught.
