Damn, Eagles hadn't allowed TDs on 6 consecutive drives since 1966.

Glad to see Fletcher Cox acknowledge that it wasn't the recent games that caused the loss. (at about 0:37)

There's more than a couple folks who owe Kyle and Brock an apology. I mean dang...I get that the 1st Quarter sucked, but you don't go hyper negative on your team.
Dude just avoid the game day thread if you don't want to see dumbass fans overreacting
Or try wrapping your head around the fact that the thread follows the same ebbs and flows as the game. Nobody in the world thinks the Niners looked sharp their first 2 drives. Defense was looking shaky as well, but they got it together, as top teams do.

Listening to them complain about the lack of investments in the LB position for the longest time makes me grateful that Shanny and Lynch put a premium on the LB position from the moment they arrived here.

I think Wilks finally figured out how this D should play mobile QBs.
I think he's done an amazing job coaching up our corners. They're playing great defense. The way they're able to track the ball and not get PI (for the most part) is w breath of fresh air

Niners danced into Philly's stadium, kicked their teeth in and laughed at their fans on the way out. This might be one of my all time favorite season wins.

Investing substantial resources in the position is a reflection of putting a premium on the position. They've drafted a ton of LBs(Reuben Foster, Fred Warner, Dre Greenlaw, Dee Winters) and given sizeable contracts to Malcolm Smith and Kwon Alexander. Hitting on Fred in the 3rd and landing Dre in the 5th doesn't diminish the fact that they've absolutely put a premium on the position.

Them trading up to draft Reuben Foster meant they value that position from a roster composition standpoint. And that was the very first draft for this front office. If a team wants to play good zone coverage, good rangy LBs are a must.

Time to get onto Seahawks week now. Big division game coming up where we can potentially lock up the division crown

What an all around great TEAM win. Deebo, Jennings, Aiyuk, CMC, Purdy, Kittle. Mooney was out of his mind breaking up passes to Brown, even Kinlaw got sacks. TW always balls and watching them come through the tunnel is the true leader of the team, but the O line outside of him and Banks is still trash. Nice to have enough All Stars to make up for it.
Yeah, the o line is a real problem. If Purdy wasn't so mobile, they would of blown up so many plays. If we had jimmy still, it would of been ugly. Brock is able to move around and buy time, or at least stands in there without fear.
it looked like another "grenade out of a bunker" throw when he hit deebo for the 48 yard TD.
i really would like to see us knab a tackle in the draft with our first pick (assuming a good one falls to us at 32). Maybe even a center in the 3-4th round. Someone to develop.
