How is that allowed?
What are you talking about? The Seahawks play the Rams on Sunday the 19th. Same day we play the Bucs

The schedule f**ked us over. The past 3 teams were coming off their byes and now coming off our bye we get the Jags coming off theirs. Just ridiculous
I mean, we by far have the worst schedule out of anyone this year. Nothing we can do about it, sadly. Best thing we can do is find a way to clinch the #1 seed, but that means winning a lot of our remaining games, and especially @ Philly. Barring a miracle, I don't see it happening.

I actually think the Eagles have a tougher schedule than the 9ers, but the 9ers schedule is so f**ked the way they set it up.

i did notice we play several teams coming off their bye week. Not sure really what's normal tho but two out of two do far were losses.
Cleveland, Cincinnati, Jacksonville and Arizona

Simple. Score 30 and we win. Score less we lose. This d is broken.
Against that top tier defense? with this OL? Good luck lol
Defense better come ready to play because we're going to need them.
Houston dropped 37 on them. If we stop shooting ourselves in the foot we can certainly get to them but the defense has to get back to form or no matter how many we score vs the Jags, we're not going far this season.
Chiefs put up 17. Bills 20. Most teams other than Texans have had trouble putting up more than 20. But I get what you're saying.
Yes NFL match rarely checks out and every game is different. Both teams coming off bye weeks so we don't know what we're really going into and they don't know what they're getting out of us either.
But if we're looking at point totals that Chiefs game was the first game back for Kelce off his injury that kept him out week 1 and it was also after everyone made a huge deal with Jawaan Taylor false starting week 1 and I'm pretty sure they went crazy with penalties that game. KC also turned the ball over a bunch of times which will always hurt your ability to put up points.
Buffalo just looked sloppy and tired in the London game, much like the Jags themselves did vs Atlanta the week prior.
For us it all comes down to fixing fundamentals and eliminating turnovers. We do that and we should be in good shape. 30+ points would be nice but I think if our defense remembers how to tackle and play disciplined football we can win a game scoring less.
Like I said before...no excuses. Get the win.

You must've missed the fact that the 49ers are easily the most screwed team this year in terms of rest advantage. Warren Sharp(I think) did an analysis on this before the season started and 49ers were dead last at something like -20 days rest advantage and you had teams in the +17 range.
I believe we play like 4 teams off a bye week this year. After our own bye week we get no rest advantage because Jags also come off a bye week and then get Seattle playing us off a mini bye.

Just because there was a break, a team doesn't get better.
Chase Young might make a difference, let's wait till he actually does, more importantly consistently!
Jaguars have a good QB, and ranked 3rd in stopping the run. Once again, back to Purdy.
Football is supposed to be entertaining, not lately.

It's true a bye week doesn't guarantee anything. We're literally 3-3 post bye week under Kyle so we'll see which way it goes this week.
However the team looked tired and slow so the rest should definitely help them. At minimum it looks like we'll be getting back two impact players on offense in Deebo and Trent due to the extra week of rest.

I'm worried that a non-Trent Williams version might not run the ball well
