And in the past and of late the 49ers have had many an man named Dee or similar names, such as DEEbo, DEommadore Lenoir, as well as men with names who start with D, such as Dre, Drake, and of course, Jake MooDEE and Big DEE Brock. And in the past it was the likes of Dee Ford, and so on.

And of course, we call the unit itself the DEE.

Thusly, the 2023 49ers defense should be called, "Deez nuts".
